| October 1st; screams like an angel | |
Yesterday was so horrid that I didn't want to write a today about it. It involved a doctor's appointment, a pair of plane tickets (that I had to pay for, which came as a surprise to me since I thought Shannon was going to buy them), Burger King (ick!) and a lot of missed buses. Today is grey. Grey, grey, grey. I dreamed last night that I was in a Asian import store and someone accused me of shoplifting. When I was exonerated, the shopkeeper suddenly became my very best friend and wanted to make it up to me by giving me things, including a leather necklace that had very large rubies dangling off of it and a sapphire necklace shaped like a heart. He also gave me chopsticks and a tea set and invited me to come back later. i wandered out onto a dock on a sunny lake, and a tidal wave or something happened. Then, in another dream, I dreamed that I was in this weird forest where all the trees and plants grew in the shape of people's grotesque faces. I was climbing a vine-thing that had a lot of hematite in it that was coming out of a screaming mouth, and as I got really close to the head, Shannon kissed me on the cheek. I woke up very, very startled. Otherwise, there isn't much going on. I'm putting together a list of Seattle consulting companies for Misha to get in touch with before she comes out to visit. I'm also doing some fairly interesting troubleshooting things at work, and some administrative cleanup work on the book conversion project. Yeah, my life is really exciting. So far, there's these consulting companies:
Best http://www.bestnet.com/ I made a new index page for An Army of Me today, just because I think i'll be revamping it in the next couple of weeks. It's old and boring. boring! I also ran across a picture of Rich and I while we were still dating today, so I made a file that has a couple of pictures in it. It's a good picture, I think. I kinda miss him.
