Yesterdays...

October 13th; don't drink the water

I was right. I was too busy to even wander into the Internet zoo at ICON this year. So I've got so much to write about today because it was a long and pretty fun weekend. Things I did...what didn't I do? I hung out a lot with Melanie, I danced, I drank, I watched anime, I shopped, and I mostly hung out with a lot of old friends. I was having a lot of trouble recognizing people, but I managed. Oh, and I spent a lot of time in the swimming pool. Was very switchy all weekend, however. Something about Iowa makes me do that. It was a lot of traveling, though. I think next time I do this I'll fly into Cedar Rapids and I'll avoid taking redeyes. Things I bought: 3 stuffed dragons, 1 large, one small (for work) and one baby one for Melanie. Soundtrack to Ladyhawke on CD (it's a rare item) I looked at knives, but I didn't really want to bother with taking any on the plane with me. maybe next year. so today I'm back at work, there's a bunch of stuff to do, and I'm going to be assisting with a session of Teens of the Web on Saturday. Weather is warm and I'm feeling a bit more motivated today than I was. I've also got to clean off my desk. and maybe eat something.
