I'm feeling better this morning. Thanks to those who've been expressing concern for me. Chris, i promise to get off my butt and write you that mail I've been kinda promising you for a while now sometime this week. probably tomorrow.
So this weekend I totally spazzed. Did TOW saturday morning, and ended up playing Shining the Holy Ark most of the rest of the day. Sunday i went to Ikea and made lists of things I want to buy for Madstop, and general decorating ideas. Do any of you know what I should do with this place? It was built in 1943, but I so do not want to go with any retro looks. Maybe a little bit country? *shudder* i don't know. i need a theme. Maybe I'll be inspired by living there. Let's see. I love this big new monitor. i bought Shannon a birthday present last night, which i will give him tomorrow because he'll be working Wednsday night and I won't get to see him. I bought myself a couple of CDs last night. I left the Chumbawumba CD at home so Shannon could listen to it, but I brought the Waterboys CD to work with me. it's bringing back all sorts of memories. Chris introduced me to the Waterboys by including The Whole of the Moon on a mix tape he made me. i can't remember if it was the first or second one he sent me. And now I'm remembering flashes of that entire relationship, and how fucked up and crazy and utterly perfect we were, at least for a little while. then it kind of fell apart. And now we're friends. You tell me how fucked that is. "your love feels like trumpets sound..." Hm. right. It's about time for something to shatter this silence. i'm getting closer.
"you were there in the turnstiles
